I am excited to have been given the opportunity to learn, love, and join the nest at Cunningham Creek Elementary as your new Learning Leader! I am truly blessed to start this new mission and cannot wait to grow and make new memories with the students and staff at CCE. My heart is beating double-time to meet my new Cardinal Family.
I have been serving as an Assistant Principal at Liberty Pines Academy (K-8) for the past 8 years here in St. Johns County. Prior to my move to St. Augustine 10 years ago, I served in Putnam County at the district level as a Professional Development Leader in Data Driven Instruction and Coaching. I worked closely with administrators, staff, and the Florida Department of Education to support school improvements and learning gains. I was blessed to teach and make an impact on many amazing scholars in two different kindergarten through fifth grade schools as well. My heart and soul lives in the elementary world as that is where my passion for education began.
I am married to my wonderfully supporting husband, Lee, and we have a daughter, Tatum, who just wrapped up her first year as a softball player at Jacksonville University and a soccer-loving son, Nolan, who is at Tocoi Creek High School. We also have two of the cutest french bulldogs that you will ever see, Scout and Finn. It is my hope that my family and yours strive to make this the best year yet at Cunningham Creek Elementary.
