Ms. Emily McGrath<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Hi! I\u2019m Ms. McGrath and I\u2019m so excited to be your school counselor. This is my 4th<\/sup>\u00a0year as a school counselor in SJCSD and I\u2019m here to support all students as they grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether it\u2019s helping solve a problem, learning how to be a good friend, or just needing someone to talk to\u2014I\u2019m here for you!<\/p>\n

I believe every child has unique strengths, and I love helping students discover what makes them special. I work with students through classroom lessons, small groups, and one-on-one check-ins. I also collaborate with teachers and families to make sure every child feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. When I\u2019m not at school, you might find me reading a good book, traveling to new places, and spending time with friends and family!<\/p>\n

My mission for the school counseling program at Cunningham Creek Elementary is to provide equitable access to a data-driven, developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive comprehensive school counseling program.\u00a0 The school counseling program is dedicated to preparing every student socially, academically, and emotionally for their future endeavors. I will advocate for every student and work in collaborative partnerships with students, families, staff, and stakeholders to support student\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n
