Keep Your Child Healthy<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

MEDICATION<\/span><\/strong><\/span> Even over the counter medications cannot be given at school without a medication authorization form completed. Download the appropriate form from this website under the \u201cforms\u201d section. EACH school year, new forms are required. See medication section for more detailed information.<\/span><\/span><\/p>


PARENT CONTACT<\/span><\/span><\/strong> A parent will be called to pick up a child for the following: <\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0Fever <\/span>over 100.4 degrees<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0Diarrhea <\/span>or <\/span>vomiting <\/span>in the past 24 hours<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0Significant pain, <\/span>repeated complaints<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0Unable to participate <\/span>in the normal routine and regular school day<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\u00a8<\/span>\u00a0Anything <\/span>out of the ordinary<\/span><\/span><\/p>


FEVER<\/span><\/strong> If a child is sent home with a fever, they must be fever free without the aid of a fever reducing product such as Tylenol for 24 hours before they return. This means that they should not return the next day. The 24 hour period begins from the time they no longer have any fever.<\/span><\/p>

SERIOUS CONDITION<\/strong><\/span> If your child has any serious conditions, please alert the teacher\/clinic so we may work with you to keep your child healthy at school.<\/span><\/p>

LICE<\/strong> <\/span>Every student with or treated for lice\/nits must be cleared through the clinic to be readmitted to the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

BIRTHDAYS<\/span><\/strong><\/span> It is important that we celebrate holidays and students while keeping everyone healthy. CCE feels strongly that these celebrations are part of the school experience. If families would like to send birthday treats for the class in honor of their child’s birthday, we ask that you send non-food and non-balloon items (ie: pencils, stickers, etc.). Our #1 priority is keeping all our students healthy and safe. If the classroom teacher sponsors a holiday party or other event, they will provide a list of items that can be sent based on classroom allergies.
